Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori have been rewarded for their fine Chelsea form with call-ups to England’s squad for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Gareth Southgate‘s Three Lions side take on the Czech Republic away on October 11 before travelling to Bulgaria just three days later.

England’s World Cup heroes Dele Alli, Kyle Walker and Jesse Lingard have all been omitted from the latest squad.

ENGLAND’S FULL SQUAD

Goalkeepers: Tom Heaton, Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope

Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ben Chilwell, Joe Gomez, Michael Keane, Harry Maguire, Tyrone Mings, Danny Rose, Fikayo Tomori, Kieran Trippier

Midfielders: Ross Barkley, Fabian Delph, Jordan Henderson, James Maddison, Mason Mount, Declan Rice, Harry Winks

Forwards: Tammy Abraham, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Raheem Sterling, Callum Wilson

Tomori and Abraham have slotted seamlessly into Frank Lampard’s starting line-up this season, with the latter having already scored eight goals in all competitions.

For Tomori, it’s a first ever senior call-up having previously been capped at Under 19, 20 and 21 level.

Meanwhile, Abraham returns to the Three Lions squad for the first time since November 2017, when he featured in two matches against Germany and Brazil at Wembley.

Speaking following the announcement, Southgate admitted the decision to call up Abraham was an easy one to make.
